Conference Location & Accommodations
All sessions and meals will be held at The Logan Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Logan Hotel offers guests a truly authentic experience in the heart of Philadelphia’s vibrant cultural district. Situated near the park in Logan Circle/Logan Square – one of the five original planned squares laid out on the city grid – it is convenient to the Museum District and Center City. Taking its name from James Logan, a Scots-Irish colonial American statesman, administrator, and scholar who served as the fourteenth mayor of the city of Philadelphia, guests can feel inspired by a strong sense of history and community at this comfortable downtown hotel.

The discounted room cost for conference attendees is US$259. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes – currently 8% sales tax, hotel occupancy tax of 15.5%, and 0.75% per room night for the Philadelphia Hospitality Improvement Levy (PHiL). Taxes may change, and will be charged at the rates in effect at the time of check-out.
The deadline for hotel reservations at the discounted rate is August 22, 2024. Hotel reservations after the deadline date can only be made subject to availability. Check-in is 4:00pm, and check-out is 12:00pm. If necessary, please speak to the hotel front desk about storing bags prior to check in and after check out. Room reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card, and requires a deposit of the first night’s room and tax for each room reserved. Transportation
Transportation to The Logan Hotel is the attendee’s responsibility. The hotel is located approximately 150 miles northeast of Washington, D.C. Approximate drive time from BWI Airport in Maryland is 2 hours, from Dulles International Airport 3.5 hours, from Reagan National 3 hours, from JFK/Laguardia 2.1 hours, from Newark International 1.3 hours, and from Philadelphia International Airport 20 minutes.
There is a daily $55 self-parking charge. Valet parking is $69.00 with in and out privileges. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Philadelphia, and other parking options are available nearby.
The Logan Hotel is situated close to public transportation in Philadelphia. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from William H. Gray III 30th Street Station, which is accessible by Amtrak and serves as a stop for the Acela express flagship passenger train service along the Northeast Corridor. The hotel is also located a 5-minute walk from the SEPTA Suburban station and a 10-minute walk from the SEPTA City Hall station (with access to the Broad Street and Market-Frankford subways and multiple bus routes).
